JOB POSTING: PROPERTY MANAGER – LUXURY SHORT-TERM RENTAL PROPERTIES

Salary: $100,000 cash plus equity bonus up to 80% annually

Summary

Miller Value Partners seeks a full-time manager for a well-financed portfolio of luxury rental properties in and around Sarasota, FL. This person will be responsible for all aspects of operating the portfolio, with the main goal of providing excellent guest experiences. Immediate responsibilities include marketing, rental calendar administration, regulatory adherence, design, furnishing, branding and accounting. The ideal candidate will also exhibit a high degree of collaborative agency in managing contractors, architects and regulators. Longer-term responsibilities include securing debt financing, management of Opportunity Zone timing deadlines and potentially acquisitions and dispositions.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a high-performing portfolio. The ultimate goal is to generate returns, which happens from providing better client experiences than the marketplace at a compelling price point.
  • Marketing and business development. This includes all aspects of keeping the portfolio occupied, as well as building out the brand and website.
  • Property upkeep. We want the best single-family portfolio in SRQ, which means proactively maintaining our homes to a high standard.
  • Accounting and reporting. Regular performance reporting, record-keeping, expense oversight and accountability are essential components for success.

Qualifications

  • Client-first service orientation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Native English fluency or equivalent
  • Full-time resident in Sarasota, FL
  • Realtor’s license or expectation to obtain one
  • Experience in property management a major plus
  • No property management or real estate business outside of MVP; this is a full-time job and not a role we are looking to outsource
